Fractional Inhouse Counsel
KMullen Law is experience in acting in a role traditionally handled by inhouse counsel. This role focuses on resolving specific needs or problems of a client, and includes two unique tools: (i) a value alignment relationship model, and (i) a technology roadmap for inhouse counsel.
Legal issues and tasks flowing from operations: part-time enagement by a national multifamily developer/owner.
New commercial lending platforms (multistate): designed and implemented numerous commercial lending platforms and products (with forms and due diligence checklists).
Database-driven reporting: created web-based reporting tool used to monitor 3,000+ apartment loan foreclosures (nationwide basis)
Outside counsel relationships: created a program for a bank to monitor outside counsel for a bank, including reporting (data collection), work product improvements and improved communication (the program was very well received by bank regulators); based upon a value alignment relationship model.
New locations: created and implemented leasing programs for a retailer and for a bank.
Debt recovery: coordinated all workouts, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and related litigation of a bank's production homebuilder finance platform (nationwide basis)
Lease renogiations: renogtiated all leases following bank insolvencies, and following natural disasters (hurricanes)
